The Diamond Eye and The Frozen River

Two historical fiction books about two women and their direct and indirect roles with the US government. The first book tells a tale of Lyudmila “Mila” Pavlichenkoa a Russian sniper who meets with the former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. The second book is based on a diary written in Maine from 1735-1812 by a mid-wife named Martha Ballard.
